Michael Fredericks

This multi-faceted individual is the "backbone" of the Foster Kids. His
bassline pluck directly into the soul of the music. He, and drummer Stu
Sonefeld are a rhythm section not found everyday. They groove in and
out of each others lines like two true professionals. Michael started his
career in the ever popular "Flashback" before branching out and
starting his own band known as "Global Village", a very successful 11
piece horn band still playing in the East Lansing area. During this time
Michael met Tom Foster, and was asked years into their friendship to
join Tommy's new band "Foster Kids". This historic pairing of Tom and
Mike has been compared to Lennon and McCartney, Richards and
Jager, and even Laurel and Hardy. Although Mike doesn't step out into
the spotlight much, he known as the "duct tape holding the Foster Kids
